When Christy Hubbard started her counseling career in 2005, she had a clear conviction: that people heal better when they’re supported by a community, not just a single clinician behind a closed door. Nearly 20 years later, that conviction became Adapt Counseling Network — a collaborative practice where skilled therapists work alongside each other, share expertise, and bring clients access to a range of specialized care under one roof.
Christy’s clinical work is rooted in women’s mental health. She specializes in working with women through anxiety, trauma, motherhood, life transitions, and adult ADHD — using a strengths-based approach that integrates EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and experiential therapy to help clients access deep, lasting change. She began her career as a parenting and crisis pregnancy counselor, and that early commitment to women in vulnerable moments has shaped everything she does.
As founder, Christy also shaped Adapt’s most distinctive offering: the integration of LENS Neurofeedback alongside traditional therapy. Where most practices offer talk therapy alone, Adapt’s team can combine clinical counseling with neurofeedback — working with both the mind and the brain to support healing at a deeper level. It’s the kind of integrative care that’s rare in Columbus, and it’s something Christy built intentionally.
