What Makes ADAPT Network's Approach Different?
Ochs Labs Certification — The Gold Standard in LENS
Not all neurofeedback is the same, and not all LENS providers are trained equally. Ochs Labs is the original developer of the LENS system. Both of our LENS clinicians hold Ochs Labs certification — which means our protocols, assessment tools, and clinical decision-making are grounded in the research and training of the people who created this technology.
When you come to ADAPT Network for LENS, you're not getting a generic neurofeedback experience. You're getting LENS done the right way, by providers who have invested deeply in this specialty.
Integrated Nervous System Care
At ADAPT Network, LENS doesn't exist in isolation. Our team includes licensed therapists trained in EMDR, Gottman Method couples therapy, perinatal mental health, sport performance counseling, and more. This means we can offer something genuinely rare: integrated care that addresses both the mind and the brain at the same time.
For many clients, combining LENS with therapy accelerates progress in ways that neither approach achieves alone. A trauma client in EMDR may find that LENS helps their nervous system settle and integrate between sessions. A child with ADHD receiving LENS may become more receptive to coaching and behavioral skills work. A postpartum mother managing anxiety may find that LENS reduces the baseline nervous system activation that makes everything harder.
We'll always work with you to determine whether LENS alone, therapy alone, or an integrated approach is the right clinical fit.
A Whole-Nervous-System Perspective
ADAPT Network takes a nervous system-first approach to mental health care. For clients interested in a comprehensive approach to brain and nervous system health, we can discuss how LENS may complement other evidence-informed tools including Heart Rate Variability (HRV) biofeedback and photobiomodulation therapy (near-infrared light therapy) — creating a layered foundation for regulation, resilience, and recovery.
What to Expect
Step 1: Initial LENS Consultation (50 minutes, $175)
Your first appointment is a clinical intake and assessment. We'll review your history, your goals, and your nervous system's current patterns using validated assessment tools. You'll learn exactly what LENS is, what to expect, and whether it's the right fit for you. Many clients receive their first LENS signal during this session.
Step 2: LENS Sessions (30 minutes, $110)
Ongoing LENS sessions are brief and require nothing from you except to sit comfortably. Sensors are placed on your scalp, your brainwave activity is measured, and a gentle feedback signal is delivered. Sessions are quiet and often feel relaxing. You may notice subtle changes — in sleep, mood, focus, or reactivity — in the days following your sessions.
Step 3: Ongoing Assessment and Adjustment
Your LENS provider will monitor your response between sessions and adjust the protocol as needed. LENS is not one-size-fits-all — the system maps to your brain's unique patterns and the treatment evolves with you. Most clients complete a full course in 9–11 sessions, though some continue beyond that depending on their goals.
