Catherine received her masters in counseling in 2007 and has spent 12 years in nonprofits supporting and empowering girls and women in Delaware and Alabama. At Girls on the Run, Catherine helped program participants learn to listen to themselves and to recognize the mind-body connection through the experiential curriculum emphasizing emotional, social and physical skills. She also has extensive experience in Animal Assisted Therapy at Hand in Paw and serving the Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
Catherine is passionate about empowering women and girls to trust themselves and to live fully and authentically. Her ongoing training focuses on anxiety, grief, trauma, and maternal health. She is a lifelong learner, a slow runner, an avid reader, new mountain biker, podcast enthusiast, and mom to two boys.
Catherine is under Amy Buchanan’s clinical supervision as she works towards professional licensure.
She accepts self-pay clients on a sliding fee scale and offers limited scholarships/pro bono sessions.
